Is God Really Present Everywhere?

♥ Is God Really Present Everywhere – Part 1 ? ♥

Is it really true that the Supreme Soul (God) is present everywhere, in each atom in the entire universe? The sun is in one place yet its influence can be felt throughout the solar system to different degrees in different places, providing a source of heat and light, needs absolutely essential for our physical life. The closer one is to the sun, the greater the effect. In the same way God, the one who is the ocean of perfect characteristics, the source of all spiritual needs, does not have to be omnipresent (present everywhere) in order to be with us wherever we are. He can be in one location and we can still experience his closeness.

If God were literally omnipresent and thus in every atom, where is this love, peace, joy and wisdom? Are they present in every atom in this human world? If God is present inside me, how could ignorance have come to me in the first place? Can ignorance come to God? If God is omnipresent to where or to whom do I turn my thoughts? Just as a radio transmitter emanates waves throughout the world and a receiver, if tuned in, will pick them up, so too if the mind is tuned totally to the material world and physical activities, then I am unable to experience God practically in my daily life. Even though He always radiates His qualities, I can only pick up those transmissions if I am soul-conscious and if I turn my thoughts in His direction to His location. If God were omnipresent, there would be no meaning to the tradition throughout all cultures to have special places set aside (e.g. temples and churches) for worship. In those special places, is God more omnipresent than in other non-sacred places? If God were omnipresent, are the ones who are so-called God-realised beings more God than the ones who have not realised?

ð Message ð

A powerful stage is like a switch which finishes darkness of negativity in a second.

Expression: Darkness is dispelled when a light is switched on. Similarly, a powerful stage is also a light switch. When this switch is on, one can put an end to all wasteful darkness and no longer have to labour to stop any wasteful thoughts. By becoming powerful, one can naturally become a donor, as there is nothing waste within.

Experience: When I am aware of my positive qualities and what I can contribute to others, I am able to be powerful. This naturally enables me to be light and spread the inner light to others. I am never influenced negatively with any kind of waste or negative, but am always able to maintain my own positivity and that of others too.

♥ Is God Really Present Everywhere – Part 2 ? ♥

If the Supreme Soul (God) were omnipresent there would be no need for knowledge and no need to search for peace. The One who is the ocean of peace and the ocean of knowledge would be everywhere. Perhaps the strongest point against the idea of literal omnipresence is the point of relationship. In the heart of every soul – there is a distinct memory – I am the child, God is my Father. If God is omnipresent, does that mean that the Father is present inside the child?

God is also the supreme teacher, guide, liberator, friend and purifier of human souls. That is why everyone turns their thoughts to Him in their hours of sorrow. The idea that God is omnipresent is indeed the ultimate excuse and greatest escape from responsibility of the mistakes that human souls have made and continue to make. After all, if God were omnipresent (present in everyone) He would be responsible for good as well as evil karmas that humans commit. An omnipresent God implies that we have nothing to complete in ourselves for we are already God. Am I really God? One could not seriously admit to such a claim. It is only through deep and concentrated meditation that one can enter the spiritual dimension where His presence is truly felt.

ð Message ð

You will be truly successful when you are loving and detached with the ones you come into contact with.

Expression: With all the people that you come into contact with throughout the day, check if you are able to have a balance between being loving and detached. Detachment doesn’t mean to stay away from people, but to be with them and yet be detached.

Experience: Make the practice of seeing only specialities, your own and that of others. This will enable you to maintain your self-respect and you will be able to find yourself both loving and detached.

♥ Enhancing Your Will Power Through Fasting ♥

Fasting Strengthens Our Will Power And Enhances Self Discipline Which Helps In Soul Cleansing.

Almost all faiths and traditions advocate fasting as a tool to spiritual upliftment. Most of us today find ourselves saying that we cannot live without mobiles, the internet, a car, an AC, coffee, etc. At such times, the days of fasting make us aware of our own strength and will power which we are not using. Fasting creates a disciplined regime and self control which takes us on a path of higher consciousness. The discipline of fasting teaches us that once we create a determined thought, nothing is impossible. As we practice fasting on a physical level, we can also do it on a mental level. It is only a decision. We can decide that for a few days we will choose peace instead of anger, in every situation.

In every faith, the fast is not just purely for a few minutes or hours but for weeks or even a month or more, because it takes time to realize, appreciate and sustain changes at a deep-rooted level. During any fast it is important to give attention to intention. Are we doing it because our religion says we must do it; everyone is doing it so we must do it; have been doing it every year; to appease God; if we don’t do it we will be punished… If it is any of these or similar intentions, then pause and consciously change the intention to a higher purpose. We do it so that it gives us the strength to connect to God, and to clean our self of our weaknesses of ego, anger, greed, jealousy and pain. Let us choose one sanskar of ours today, and let us make a firm resolve that for a few days we will abstain from it – irritation, criticism, anger… and use instead a sanskar of patience, appreciation, love. If we are holding any hurt or animosity, now is the time, create one powerful thought – Past is Passed, it’s over. Forgiveness is the message of every religion, so let us follow religion. All religions teach love and unity, so let go of every negative thought. Let us not just cleanse our body, but cleanse the mind also.Religion gave us the tradition of fasting, so that it comes as a reminder for us to take out time for soul cleansing. This is the message that Ramadan or Ramzaan, which has just got over, conveys.

The power of cooperation enables the most difficult task to be successfully done.

Expression: To have the power of cooperation means to have the ability to see and use the specialities of others in any task that is to be done. It is the ability to respect and use the suggestions and ideas of each and everyone which contributes for the success of the task. So the one who is able to use this power is able to be successful in any task that he takes up.

Experience: When I am able to give cooperation and take cooperation from those around me, I never experience fear for any task that has to be done, but am able to be at ease, knowing that everything is possible. I am also able to earn the respect of those around me for having made the best use of their specialities, which further facilitates the success of the task.
